So in my previous post I stated that I had disliked and had trouble with my Klipsch Image X10's.  I am returning them to Amazon (in the 30 day window) and getting something else.  Trouble is, I don't know what to get!

Budget is -200.

Let me know what you guys think!

Thanks a lot

The Sony EX7550, HF5, EQ7, Sennheiser IE8 and MTP Copper are recommended and they all are detailed with good punchy bass and fairly wide soundstage.

I mainly didn't let them after one of the tips stayed in my ear and had to get it removed at the hospital...I also had the X5's and absolutely loved them, just didn't like the sound of the X10's.  Maybe it was the extra bass, I don't really know, just wasn't for me.

I am looking for a comfortable iem that has a detailed clear sound.  I found the X10 sound to be muddy and unclear.

You should try the TF10, they are very detailed, especially the treble. I owned the X10s too in the past and didn't like them.

The TF10 are pretty big so they won't be comfy if you have small ear canals though.

I had the TF10 for literally a day and returned them because they did hurt my ears...but maybe that was because I was use to my klipsch image X5's...I feel like i didn't give the TF10's enough of a chance...considering reordering them.  Oh the beauty of amazon.  What about the UE 700s?

Decore a pair of the Comply foams that come with the TF10's and shove them into either the small or medium silicone tips. Usually improves isolation and comfort a great deal. Though with this, you won't hear the idiot in the red SUV barreling at you going 50 mph in a 30mph zone.

TF10 would be a great replacement

Save some money and get some MEElectronics CC51's. Great sound, small, great fit.

If you want to spend some more cash JVC HA_FXT90. Amazing sound IMHO. They can be had for about $120-140 on ebay from authorized dealers.

All of this said, it may be worth it to try the UE700. Durability is usually the concern, although you might be able to solve that by using a bit of gaffer tape.
They're small to the point it's ridiculous though.

Go for UE700 since it has the treble detail similar to the TF10. The only concern is the right angle jack for most but apparently, there was a revision a while ago and it was supposedly "fixed". Even if it does break, just file for warranty with an Amazon receipt and get another. Or you can gaffer tape it. Plus it's small to the point where you can compare it to the Klipsch X series.
