My dad had a pair of old "Realistics," don't know much about them. They were monsterous. Anyways, whats some of your favorite retro 'phones?

I just won a set of vintage Stax (from the 70's) on ebay.  I've been wanting to try some electrostats, hopefully I'll like em.

My dad owns a pair of realistics, now that i remember. I will look for them. 
 
They worked fine with an old receiver.

I have used my friend Pioneer SE-305's..they sound good to my ears.

Yeah exactly, and they're not really that bad of a headphone especially for their time

Sometimes you can find real bargains at thrift stores, i remember my brother picked up a pair of vintage Koss hp's for cheap.
