You could try and post something useful and relevant in the thread, rather than a "rubbish" post. That wouldn't fall foul of any posting guidelines as far as I can tell. Of course the limitation is that you can't help out on threads where you really have nothing of value to contribute.I won't be doing any more "rubbish" posts to enable someone else to post - mine were deleted by the powers that be so they are obviously not going to tolerate that.
As for the Prog thread, because I replied to someone else's post, I have been unable to add more content for coming up on two days. The thread almost died once but a small group of us resurrected it but now it seems that effort was in vain.

The interesting thing is that this policy may encourage science: Head-Fiers are going to study DIP (Dissociative Identity Disorder) and MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder)!

New to this forum. I was reading the welcome message where they talk about making only one post at a time. I found this thread: is this the same thing?

Yes... I this is what the thread is about.
I happen to have direct exposure to DID in my entourage. This not fun! But it has nothing to do with a forum posting rules.

Where I was going is that, as a work around, Head-Fiers could start "replying to themselves" under different accounts.
Why would somebody do that? Is it how this forum work?

I think the administrators will immediately detect such a behavior.

I am not that sure... From the little I have read about DID/MPD, I believe it could be quite difficult to detect. If a poster is "talented" (if they know the science...), they could impersonate somebody with a DID/MPD disorder quite well...I think the administrators will immediately detect such a behavior.
How would the admins know whether that Head-Fier impersonate DID/MPD vs. having the real disorder? Wouldn't it be profoundly immoral to ban somebody having that disorder?

You say IP address (no 's'): I post from my phone, laptop, work laptop (don't tell my boss!). You are saying the admin's cross-reference each user IP addresses (with an 's') to find users using multiple accounts?because they can see the IP address of all members
if it's from the same location and the phone is using wifi then yes. Besides, is it really worth getting banned to try and game the system? You say IP address (no 's'): I post from my phone, laptop, work laptop (don't tell my boss!). If only there was a Very Practical Network technology that could assist...
I know that, I use AirVPN myself but not here as I just have the one account and that's the way it's staying - it would take just one slip up and you're looking at a ban, just not worth the riskIf only there was a Very Practical Network technology that could assist...
