No budget limit. Cheaper would be better, but I would like to see what closed back Planar Magnetic cans are available. I already have the Drop Panda and Audeze Mobius, but I want to use them wired. Sources are my Sony TA amp and the WM1Z

All high end. Interesting. How about under $500?

I have not heard them but in that price range, Fostex TxRP (x=60/50/40) series, but they will not run off your DAP and not sure your amp has enough horsepower either.

Dekoni has a model based on these also (50s, I think). Same issue with power requirements.

The shop that I go to has the amp that I use. So I can always check to use how well it can handle the power. So that’s why I’m open to any and all suggestions. If I need an amp, perhaps I can use my iFi hip dac as back up?

Similarly, I recommend the Monoprice M1570C.

Hello,
The Aeon R/T closed is one of the best up to $500.
On Drop it passes under Dan Clark X Drop where both are the same.

The only thing you need to consider is that you have a competent amp that can handle low ohm headphones and has enough power.
Then it's a good blast as headphones.

You wouldn't go wrong with the Ify Hip Dac 2 or Gryphon.

The isolation is also very good, I used them for a year in hotels and on train journeys and they were always a pleasure to listen to.
Great quality.
Only the headband could be better on the Aeon's, but it's still okay.

In general, there are not many closed planar headphones that are also good.
Open ones tend to be better.

Good luck with your search 😉.
