I have decided to use my RME ADi-2 DAC FS as a preamp(spdif coax) for a DAC/Streamer.

Reason is that I like a little more thickness/warmth/soundstage for my speakers.

Requirements:
USB for pc connection
NAS connection with ethernet cable.
(Not interested in tidal, spotify)
Spdif out coaxial
Tube or not. Thick warm sound👍
Balanced out (could be an option for other uses)
Headphone or not 👍

Any recommendations?

you are absolutely right on this one. I can not find a product that has the same features like the iFi :)

Kinki Studio Vision DAC1
CEC DA5
Audiomat Tempo 2.9 or C MKII
Great devices, but I can not find a LAN/Ethernet port on them.

Ofcourse! But we are getting close to the Weiss DAC501/2 prices here right?
I think that piece is not too expensive.

Bluesound, I have a node 2i that is 4 or 5 years old, and I just bought a B100S which I like better.

The B100S has an all metal case and no controls and no wifi. It's about 40 or 50 euros less than the node 2i and maybe 100 less than the new node. The new node has USB DAC support, the other two models I mentioned that I have do not. And I don't want that.

But, I don't understand your requirements at all. If you want coax, why USB? Balanced out, why? I thought you wanted coax. Do you want a transport or a preamp streamer? You said you were going to use your RME. No Tidal, no Spotify, what do you plan on playing? You lost me, totally...

If you want to stream only local files, Bluesound is overkill. Get an Allo https://allo.com/sparky/digione-player.html or the signature version if you want to spend more.

flac player on pc sends the music to the dac(from usb) which send coax out to RME

This is more confusing than the first post

Why are you using 2 DACs? If your PC has coax out, then feed it to the RME and done.

I need a streamer that can both be connected to a pc and a NAS/ethernet...which outputs to rme dac fs coax

The point of a streamer is to avoid a PC.

What are you trying to accomplish?
