I'm looking to get a better tripod to replace my current one, which is a sunpak. I've got a budget of USD100+, which Manfrotto should I get?

Cheap tripods are a false economy - I went through 3 Manfrottos before I gave up and got my current Gitzo 1127 with an Acratech head. The price of the Manfrottos combined is roughly the same as the Gitzo leg set. The basalt Gitzos are almost as light as the carbon fiber ones, and much cheaper. |
