is it taller than you without center column extended? if not, i'd recommend getting the 3021 for added height. extending the center column is a no-no in terms of stability.

i have a 3021bpro/488rc2 tripod/ballhead combo and i absolutely love it. it's my first quality tripod and i have a feeling it will be with me for a very long time... unless i become pro overnight

(i don't take enough pictures to need anything better than what i've got)

The tripod is about the same height as me with the center column extended to about 90%, and all legs maxed out.
