My Beyerdynamic DT 770 250-Ohm headphones just arrived today, is there a recommended or prefered music or sound to use to break them in?
I have a Muse 6922EH Tube headphone amp. but I'll be using my Asus Xonar DXs front headphone jack for the break in.

Run them on your music player (iTunes,etc) for 60+ hours and you will be fine

Any kind of music...just play the music you like at moderate volumes and enjoy your headphones!!

Honestly, I'm not sure if I believe in break-in, but it couldn't hurt to just put your music library on shuffle overnight.  No way that could hurt anything, and I doubt other methods like sine wave sweeps and pink noise do any better.
