I bought a pair of SR80's used that need a recabling job. The plug has come off and I'd like it shortened a couple of feet. Is it a hard DIY job? I don't know how to solder but I'm not averse to learning. Would it just be easier to take it to someone?
edit: I suppose I could shorten the cable and then attach a plug, right? That would be easier than recabling entirely, I imagine. Is that a DIY job?
