Hi, I'm searching for a good and ultraportable amp for my cowon D2 plus soundmagic PL50.
I've goy a FiiO E5, not so much improvement.
I've already seen nuforce mobile, ibasso T4 and waiting for the FiiO E7.
What would you suggest?

An RSA "The Shadow" maybe?
Ultraportable amplifier, and impressions of the pre-release seem highly positive.

I have an Ibasso D10 ($275 new from Ibasso website) that sounds very good. It's not really big but it might stretch your idea of portable though.

I've got an ibasso p3+ and it's too big.

i think Gbjerke meant that the T3 is supposed to be better than the T4.

How could it be? the T4 should be the successor. Actually, the real question is: do I need a portamble amp with a player like the D2 or the nationite S:Flo 2?

The iBasso T3 is the successor to the T4. Don't ask me why they numbered it the way they did.

The T4 is generally considered one of the best truly portable amps. The RSA Shadow will probably replace that now, but it's also much pricier. Thus, the new iBasso T3 is probably your best bet. Priced fairly, too.

I won the T4 at a local meet and it is extremely good for it's size.
It will hiss with very sensitive iems (like the UM3x which is one of the most sensitive you can get) at higher volumes but for the price it is excellent.

I absolutely hate recommending unheard stuff but, a friend of mine who has used the T4 extensively said that the T3 was a very decent improvement.
Perhaps go for that?
