Has anyone mentioned this yet:

I personally don't understand Lil Ugly Mane. Is this a concept album or what? He went from making electronic music to all of the sudden rapping like he's a straight up thugged out gangsta from hell, sippin on syrup, bustin caps at people and selling coke. I don't take this skinny, nerdy looking white kid as a real G in the slightest bit. I just don't get it. It's corny in my opinion unless it's just a concept album and he's doing it to be creative. I think he raps good on the album and has some dope sounding songs but I just can't get passed how corny and fake his gangsta persona is.

You should check out The Roots. Some good ones from their album "How I Got Over":

  • How I Got Over (Feat. Dice Raw)
  • Right On (Feat. Joanna Newsome, STS)
  • The Day (Feat. Blu, Phonte, Patty Crash)
