I swam with my RE0 in my swimming shorts. Forgot. It's sounds ok. Anyone done this? Is it going to have problems?

By "Ok" do you mean it still sounds exactly as it sounded before?

they'll be alright as long as the water didn't turn blue while you were in it...
It sounds as before. I'm just afraid that it might short or something at any moment.

I usually try to clean electronics that fall into pools or lakes/rivers with alcohol. If it seems to be working OK though I'd just leave it alone.

yes you should have put it in a bowl of uncooked rice before trying to listen to it as rice will help drive out moisture.
i don't know about you, but i wouldn't use them anymore because if they do short out in your ear, isn't there a chance your ear might be damaged?

wow that is really lucky...
i don't get how earphones can withstand being submerged in water - won't water get in thru the nozzle and mess up the inside?

The water itself shouldn't cause any damage, I think. The main worry is that it'll short if you use it while it's still got water inside. That's why you let it dry and hope the driver isn't torn or anything.
It is starting to sound distorted with some static noise now and than. Darn. It's finished.
