"The Taking Of Pelham 1-2-3" [8.0/10]: I enjoyed the film. I always, and just recently watched, the original film. This one was quite a bit different from that one. John Travolta always plays an interesting bad guy. Nothing special but worth the 105 minutes.

As everyone I was impressed with all the technical awesomeness, but I was also pretty impressed on how they managed to pull off the first 30 minutes or so. That was some heavy stuff to put in a kids' movie...

The Godfather Part 1 - 9.5 out of 10
I haven't often seen a movie that pays that much attention to delivering a sense of authenticity. This of course makes it a very slow movie, but I didn't mind it at all. Can't wait to go and see the other two parts...
