There's a good'in - a modern high school noir.

Checked out Revolutionary Road (6/10) and was satisfied. I am a total period drama geek of course. It put me in the mood for The Ice Storm (7/10) and Little Children (7/10), which are two other suburban yearning yarns. The former especially has improved with each new viewing. Sigourney Weaver delivered a wonderfully shaded performance in it.

"Wanted" [6.5/10]: The only reason to see this movie would be that you would have seen "Dark Knight," "Iron Man," and "Hancock," and you are desperate for an action-adventure fix. You wouldn't want to see it for Angelina. Her part borders on a cameo. Saw it once, will never see it again...

Righteous Kill - 6.5/10. Pacino and Deniro are getting old. Aging is a bitch!

Igor - 4/10, interesting premise but could not keep my attention, or my kid's attention. He left halfway through the movie.
The Happening - 5/10, interesting premise although not much else. Zooey Deschanel creeps me out.
Good Luck Chuck - 7/10, some really funny parts, just a brainless fun movie. Fat Bob Kelly is a creep.
Waiting - 6/10, lot of funny stuff although slow at times. Very poignant to those who ever worked in food service, like my wife.
