What do you think is the rarest and the hardest to find headphone stands. I know the Sennheiser 40th anniversary stand is really rare, and cost a pretty penny.

Not, really if you ready that thread, that stand is not even worth that money. Its not even a nice looking stand (my opinion) and if it was and kind of is, it could be made less then than.

Why not make your own? You can clone just about anything out there or come up with your own, unique design.

i cut a branch off methuselah and made my own and used some moon rocks for ballast.

Yeah make your own! It lets you be creative and show your style.  Here is mine made from used parts I designed for work, from a solar stirling engine. There are 2. mine and i made one for a friend.
