dude I just received the earphone and I just got a decision to release my old one.
Hook-X is real thing... I love this -phone

Looks like the Hook-X has QC issues, RealAudioReviews from YT reported channel imbalance on his unit, BGGAR apparently got a dud that broke within a week.

It's a shame really because the Hook-X is better tuned than the Timeless IMO and basically poops on most IEMs under $300 when it comes to sheer tonal balance.

Has anyone reported QC issues on the S12? I haven't seen any from memory.

Had the Hook-X on my list of IEM wants, not sure if I'll consider the Hook-X given QC.

If it helps, I ended up with two sets of the Hook-X and both measured basically identical to where I didn't even bother uploading the second set (which arrived after my review was written, and was accidentally made in the first place) on my Squig.

I was just listening to a different DD IEM, and I though to myself.....there may be more quantity but the HOOK-X is doing the quality bass!

how big sounds do you listen to music? I'm just curious that if it sounds only piezo when you listen with small volume

Balanced all the time. Though more volume does give the impression of a bigger stage.

Thanks. Im listening with about 20% of the volume (kinda low), but I feel the bass but someone said it only sounds piezo.

You really have to use the IEM for 100 hours before full bass exposure. Meaning play it at medium volume on a table for at least 60 hours before it will change.

Yop. I received it 2 days ago and Im enjoying it. I usually listen to music with low volume.
I'm planning to play 60 hours over the weekend. I hope it changes.

No, I had a burn-in complex. Meaning I tried to describe it OTB and it did a 360 on me, becoming a whole different animal after 60 hours. You don't know what you have yet. Cheers!
