yea I do like my k-81s better.

A fully burn in k-81 with a minus bass eq would whip it anyday (the k-81 actually has bass, the mids have thickness, and the highs are not shrill)

the HF1... Blew me away that a headphone could make guitars sound like that.... Like real guitars. I was perfectly happy with the MS2. The HF1 just... Pulled me into the sound of wood grados. From there the seed was planted and the desire grew for MORE of the same, hence the RS1. Still searching for the right amp though. I don't think that search will end till' I land a PPX Slam.

Where would you insert the ms2 or 2i in your current ranking?
Is the hf1 better to you overall? Is the ms2 the same as the 2i by the way?

The PS1 was my top pick because it delt with the hashness that most of the rest on my list failed to do for me.No amount of tube rolling or cable swapping changed that so the PS1 took care of that in the same way the stello did for the Zhalou dac.Now if only the bass was not so overpowering
