try opening it and cut one of the 2 wires to the battery as it may have a short circuit inside the battery, power it using the charging cable. if it is working you just need to buy a new battery ( you can even put a bigger battery inside as he did here :

While it doesn't help with your problem, the current version - 1.9.0, updated 1 Jan 2019 - was and is working on Android 13 running a Pixel 4XL and 7. While I'm sure that this ancient release was running fine on Android 12 on the Pixel 4XL, I am too lazy to check the relevant dates.

Hi folks. My es100 is 3.5 years old and suddenly it starts to disconnects from BT randomly or restarting. Is this a common problem? Any solutions for this? Really like this tiny device.

This is me right now. I use it as my daily even tho I have a Topping G5(use this for over ears). I guess I might finally check the q5. I really like the small size of the es100 mk2 but I'm getting so many random resets now, sometimes every 2 minutes sometimes an hour in between that I finally decided I need to upgrade. Wish they would do a mk3!

I think the Qudelix 5K basicaly is a Radsone ES100 mk3 with substantially evolved software.

Its not. ES100 is AK based and 5k is Sabre. For folks with good ears they don't sound the same.

Plus the 5K has a rather confusing physical interface. I never warmed up to it sonically either, so I sold it. Much prefer the ES100, but also like the ifi GO Blu

No significant drain in my experience. Last charge 2 weeks ago, since then it was resting in my rucksack. Still 90%

Why would you not just buy the qudelix 5k?

I, for one, always preferred the ES100 to the Qudelix. I don’t like the K5’s rather lean sound, it’s confusing app and the hard to get button interface. USB-C is nice to have, as is the better clip. But otherwise… I kept both of my ES100 units, but long sold the Qudelix.

It's also an option and the built in clip is better than the clip option for the fiio but it's also the most expensive here IIRC. Shipped probably around $150CAD compared to 99 for the fiio.

I've got the FiiO BTR3, the ES100 and the Qudelix 5K. The 5K is head and shoulders above the BTR3 and the ES100, IMHO. The Qudelix App is excellent.
