this is the pics, but it cause very expensive like 3K usd for making it.
I just want to maximise the sound quality of raal so it’s really not worth to use Odin to make if you consider the cost.
I just got one custom made by Snake Oil cables for about $65 USD. Sounds great on my initial listening.

I got a 25-foot cable from RAAL. I also have the 2 foot cable from RAAL. They sound the same to me.

The quality of the RAAL cables is outstanding. Had a slightly modified 9 footer made a few weeks back.

Just put in an order with my dealer for the Ca-1a and SR1b with two 2m Star-8 cables (one for each). I'm gonna use my CFA3 with them and maybe buy the VM-1a in the future. I guess I gotta pick up some filters too. I'm excited to get back into the Raals. :L3000:

Congrats man! both the vm1a and ti1b are going to be a huge step up from the old interface box! looking forward to your new impressions.

Anyone have a TI-A they’d be interested in trading for a TI-B? I switched to a speaker amp (Aegir) and that would work a lot better for my cable setup

I was looking at the extra pads for my CA-1A. It looks like they have normal versions and thicker versions. What's the difference? The descriptions on the site don't really say.

The thicker ones are for people with smaller heads or ears that stick out more. They’ll increase the distance between the driver and your head.

Thanks! I have a big head, so I'll go with the others.

you want the normal version, the thicker version adds a bit of bass at the expense of some congestion IMHO

@jlbrach do you have any hiss on your Aegir? I have some slight static regardless of the volume level, equal on both channels. Hooked the Aegir up to the 16 ohm input on the TI-1B. Cables are tight. No hiss when using the iFi Pro Sig directly to the TI-1B instead of as a pre.

It otherwise sounds incredible. So much more control and texture

Isn't it @yyzSB with an Aegir? It's a combination I am very interested in.

I use the VM-1a and also have the CFA3 from time to time...no hiss as far as I hear

An amplifier should not have any audible hiss.

The source of your hiss is after the volume pot in your amp but probably before or at the input to the first gain/driver stage. At this point all the gain of your amp is to come so even minor hiss will get the full treatment from your amp.

Perhaps you could check out the resistors in that part of your amp and try to establish their quality. All resistors generate some hiss, but audiophile grade resistors generate minimal amounts.

Audiophile grade resistors are expensive so you won't see them in lower-tier devices.

You could try replacing, or have replaced, any suspect resistors and see what happens.
