I like the honeycomb design of the grill. Much less diffraction that way. Thanks for the pic. Nice work.

Sorry if I missed it.The CA-1a includes the TI-1a Transformer Interface and cables. For SR1 owners, who already own amps, cables and interfaces, we also offer the CA-1a NAKED (CA-1a ONLY). This saves SR1 owners the expense of buying items you already own.
I saw the SR1b today (did not listen to it). and it looked nicer than the SR1a though I have no issue with the looks of the SR1a.I like the honeycomb design of the grill. Much less diffraction that way. Thanks for the pic. Nice work.
Your own adapter cable, banana/spade/whatever to 4-pin male XLR, into the TI-1a/b. Then from the TA-1a/b the usual 4-pin female XLR (well, not really usual, but usual in the RAAL SR-1a case). What will I need to run CA1A off a speaker amp?
The provided HP amp to TI-1a interface cable works with an existing XLR->speaker adapter too:We are not offering TRS/XLR or banana/XLR adapters/adapter cables, at least for now.
The former are readily available online for cheaper that what we can make them for, while the latter are falling victim to our divorce with speaker amps, expecting low market pressure to keep those as a product.
It's the same problem like, for example, wanting to drive a Susvara from a speaker amp, where such adapter is not available from the manufacturer.
However, we're won't dismiss any requests and we are ready to respond. It was just not planned, until we see what you guys would need and how frequently.
Please call Danny about that and this will either be made by him, or by me, if it's not too long to wait until our next shipment to The States.
If you wish to make your own, the pinout is the regular Headphone Balanced 4-pin XLR pinout, Pin1: L+, Pin2: L-, Pin3: R+, Pin4: R-.

Yeah, the older interface box has the open-baffle compensation / low end tweak built in so will need or should have that modified to bypass it if planning to use it with the CA-1a. The TI-1a and TI-1b has that as optional adapters to place between the DAC and the amp.Was there something about one of the setups being geared toward the SR1a and the CA1A won't need the same (guessing low end) tweak?
Edit: Seems to be with the other box.
None, whatsoever! HSA has a switch to turn off the SR1 Open Baffle Compensation and it is highly compatible, sound-wise.Will there be any issues running the CA-1a off the HSA-1B?

The world is small If I win a lottery I comission Danos to build a custom amp for the SR1b. Not that I have any problem with the VM1a, but would be intresting to see what he doesNice!
Wow, Aries Cerat! Stavros Danos is a good friend and one of my most important clients for tweeters.
Here's our photo with his new speakers with custom RAAL ribbons, especially for those. Dipole ribbons that he always horn-loads them in his special way...
