Raal Ribbon Headphones - SRH1A

Thanks for the Charts, made it easy to describe what I need but also raised a few additional questions.

So to use the CA-1a with my Headamp I'd need
- The TI-1A
- The HPL-1a 2ft to connect the TI-1A to my headamp.
- The SL-726 to connect the headphones to the Interface (since 7ft is the ideal length)

To connect my speakeramp though, I'd need the
- SPL-1a 10ft.

My question earlier was if a banana plug to 4-pin XLR cable can be ordered, and the SPL-1a is the answer. (Actually at first I thought I could use any speaker cable + adapter, but in this case we seemingly need a special cable for the connection of amp to interface)

Now to my additional questions.
1.It's stated 8-25W @8Ohm speakeramp.
Can I still use my 100W @8Ohm amp if I am careful with the volume knob?

2. The graphic mentions a TI-1B, what's the difference to 1a?
The difference between the TI-1a and TI-1b is the housing. The TI-1a is housed in a metal box, very similar to our original resistor Ribbon/Amp Interface. The TI-1b is electrically identical to the TI-1a (same circuit and components) but housed in a moulded box that echos CA-1a shell material.

Will the CA-1a come with either interface or will have to be purchased separately?

The CA-1a includes the TI-1a Transformer Interface and cables. For SR1 owners, who already own amps, cables and interfaces, we also offer the CA-1a NAKED (CA-1a ONLY). This saves SR1 owners the expense of buying items you already own.

I assume the CA1a will come with the original copper "standard cable" if we do not opt for TI1a, right?

I also assume there won't interface boxes with speaker pass-through with switch offered anymore then.

I was going to feel slighted if forced to purchase any interface. Thank you for clarifying.

Speakers, and the ribbon headphones powered trough the TI1a interface, have widely different power requirements.
A simple switch, carelessly activated, could break something, e.g. melt the ribbon.

We will offer a complete set for $2.5k, CA-1a+TI-1b Set, that makes it plug&play.
This comes in two boxes, one larger, containing the headphones (no cables) and one smaller, containing the TI Set (TI, input and headphone cables)

Anything that isn't a complete set, you can order separately:
CA-1a as a separate item comes without a cable, then you choose which cable you want, if any, and so on.

Great! Can we hope to have the CA1a alone for under $2k then? It would be cool for people who already invested in a SR1a!!

I am convinced people owning both SR1a and CA1a will go the full route with a VM1a, a Star67 cable and Mains Power Base (MPB-1a).

That would be a high praise for us and one hell of a headphone system!

We will call the power thing the HPB-1a, Headphone Power Base, so it would be clear that it's current handling capability is limited to headphone systems only.

Big audio and recording studios were enjoying the benefits of Balanced Power for a couple of decades now, but we're adding my own trick to it (core filtering - primary and secondary windings do not overlap so HF garbage from the mains can't get transferred by direct wire-to-wire magnetic or capacitive coupling, but only through the core, and power transformer cores are very bad above 400Hz, so the core would eat that up and turn it into heat, without issues in sound related to adding actual HF filters).

This is great news.
I think a lot of people underestimate the importance of good/clean power in audio (speaker or headphones systems). A lot of people invest in upgrading equipment but still feeding them the same garbage AC.
