New Head-Fier
I have both but like other users here, I find UAPP to be swifter, especially in terms of displaying album artwork in a list.Silly question. I play music on this device 90% of the time using Amazon Music HD. Today I was using the HiBy app and it seems like I was in a shuffle mode. How does one turn shuffle mode off permanently?
Also wondering how many people using the native HiBy app vs. UAPP (which I do have).
By the way even though I was using a regular old fashioned redbook file, not a hi res file, it was a great listening experience. The R5 is a very pleasant and musical unit.
A recent update to the Hiby app did noticeably speed up artwork display, but it still lags behind UAPP.
I prefer the UI of UAPP over Hiby Music, and can hear no difference in audio quality between the two.
I navigate using folders with both apps.
I use UAPP as my daily player.
I'm currently using Hiby Music solely to create a definitive 'best of' playlist from the 64 volumes of Dusty Fingers I have in FLAC, so the Hiby app is convenient so I don't 'lose my place'.
In all honesty, I'm a little disappointed with the Hiby app. You'd think that their own software would be the best option to use on their own player, but in my opinion, it isn't.
But obviously, that can change with future updates, and hopefully will.
In an ideal world, I'd like the customisation and UI of Poweramp, the audio features qualities of UAPP and the Hiby name!
