Thanks for your reply.
Thanks for your reply. Yes it does. Though I'll pose a similar question to the one  I asked JerrryLeeds - did you try any other iem's with the QP1R?  The problem I have is where I live there aren't any local hifi dealers who have a  wide range of iem's on demo, so I have to go on review's and user experience. Hopefully the replies I get will be of use to others in my position.

I also have used them with my DUNU 2000J they also sounded good albeit a different signature to the Ditas. IMHO the Dita are in a different league to the DUNU's but they both are good choices depending on your pref

Updated the (Q30) Charge and Sync section of the QP1R review (added Anker Micro USB cable information).

fyi, got an anker cable as listed in your review and it doesn't quite make it.  appears to just barely fit/reach but doesn't charge the unit and falls out very easily.  i took off a couple of mm of the plastic housing using a box cutter [any knife will do] and it's fine.

Maybe it isn't the exact same one that I have (sometimes companies do that). Mine fits easily and stays completely put with a click. That was why I recommended it. The Gorilla hybrid Micro USB and Lightning charge and sync cable fits as well.

I wish I knew where I got my cable from, it is rubbery rather than hard plastic, and squeezes itself into the socket hole...

Definitely think (personally) that the recessed port is a mistake, but YMMV

Same goes for me... Had to slice the same amount off to make to connector a bit longer ... But it works ...

Btw is there a difference with the 1.0.4 beta firmware and the current one? Or is it the same thing?

That's really interesting. I don't want to have to take it off of the review, but if the linked one(s) are one(s) that don't fit then I will. Before I decide to do that:

Did it give a "click" when plugging into the Micro USB port without having to trim the body?

Did it look like mine when it was inside of the Micro USB slot of my QP1R (before trimming)?

What was the specific link you used to purchase?

Same questions go to you as well, jk47.

Having to trim a cable on such a nice player, I gotta give that a mini FAIL.

I'd give it a full fail, only due to the fact that I was coming back from CanJam RMAF (where I bought the unit) and could not charge my device because I brought my normal universal charger cable with me and checked the box with the cable that came with the unit. So big hassle and disappointment a the time.

Okay, thanks for providing the link. Pictures of how the Anker cable looks when it is when connected (before trimming) would have been the best route. Glad you were able to get it working though, albeit not the most optimal way (by not having to do anything), though.

it looks normal.  you can't tell that the metal piece is not extended far enough and that the cable will fall out if touched,

I got a $5 6 foot Mediabridge cable trimed it up and ready to go. I really don't care what it looks like so long as it works.

I understand.  Just to compare it to my picture would have been optimal to see if there were any changes.
