Oh, First time I hear this. Seems all reviews and even the headfi thread on BT11 talk about connecting this to non-Fiio receivers and I hadn’t seen one mention exclusivity to Fiio dac amps.
I couldn’t do that. Maybe it’s just me, but all the bt11 thread talks are focused on BTR17 etc.
It CAN however connect to wireless headsets. But no mention of other dac amps.

tested the BT11 using both my MacBook Air and iPhone SE (1st gen.) connecting to the SMSL DO200 MKII into the EarMen CH-Amp, as well as into the EarMen Traduttointo another EarMen CH-Amp
There’s a few redditors that have used it successfully with other dongles. It seems it works with least issues with iPhone. But it’s the CMA18P thread and I would not like to derail.
Was hoping to get first some feedback on anyone else who got to compare CMA18P LDAC vs wired (regardless of bluetooth source device used).
As great as the Elite is, I also find the CMA18P to be significantly better (for my preferences). But I have completely different use cases for them, which is why I keep both: the Questyle is my bedside unit, while the Elite is perfect as a tiny, high-quality, always-on source at my desk in my home office. I do find the Elite benefits from using my Macbook Air as source, compared to my phone; could be placebo, but it feels like it fills out the sound and takes it out of the neutral/sterile territory..
I recently had the chance to do this exact comparison with the CMA18P using an iPhone 16 and both the DCA Noire X and E3. Headphones were connected via 4.4mm and I wanted to see the difference between using USB-C and BT.
To my ears, wired might have the slightest advantage over BT, but it wasn’t enough of a difference to me where I could pick it out every time. BT on this sounded REALLY good. It makes for a great sounding portable setup. I was impressed enough to pick one up from the classifieds after spending a bit of time with it.
