Questions about the AKG K701

So far these headphones are meeting the hopes I had for them exactly, and that's before any burn in. I'm so glad I got these with a warranty and all. If the bass gets just a bit more definition after burn-in, this will be my main can and I'll just flat out stop spending money on all of this

edit: and I do mean definition, just the ability to hear it a bit better. I don't expect or want crazy impact or anything like that. That's what my future closed cans are for

If you like the way they sound now(K701), you won't be disappointed because they really do open up as the drivers diaphragm gets less tight. I didn't feel they had enough bass at first, but now I get plenty of bass response. Has anyone heard what a headbanger can do with two 9v batteries. With the added headroom this gives, an entry level amp can sound really good, but watch your volume!
