It would help if you stated an over all budget for everything.
Have you already purchased the HD598?

Nope not yet but planning to get some nice headphones under 300$ + 100-150$ amp +sound card if needed

For the best bang for the buck.
Sennheiser HD558 headphones, $95 to $123, the HD558 use the same driver as the HD598.
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Z sound card, $65 to $85.
So if you bought used off Amazon, your looking at $160 (+tax) total.

For a better audio quality sound card, Asus Xonar Essence STX, $150-$186

Or a used Asus Xonar DX or D1 sound card, used $60,
with a Schiit Magni external headphone amplifier, $99.
Total with tax/shipping, around $175

Thnx for the great info, just to ask is it worth to buy also the modi along with magni +sound card all together?

If you get any of the talked about the sound cards (DX, D1, STX, Z), I would think it's not worth getting the Modi.
You could just get an optical Modi & Magni and skip on the sound card.
It's $198+tax+shipping for the Modi/Magni combo
Plug the optical Modi into your motherboard's optical port and use the features of the motherboard's built in sound card.
And of course plug the Magni into the Modi.
