Question on IEM's with two drivers.

On most IEM's that use two drivers, they say they use one for bass and the other for treble and mids. i was just wondering if both the drivers would be the same type (balanced or dynamic driver). because if that's not the case, it should be. it would give great bass from the dynamic driver and the clarity in the mids and treble that comes from a balanced driver.

There are a few hybrid IEM's out there. Most notable is the most expensive UIEM, AKG 3003.
