question about westone um3xrc and the shure se535

I've owned both in the past and I'd say from memory that the UM3X is larger, but because it has the braided wire instead of the strange cord that kind of sticks out of the SE535, the UM3X actually fits my ear cavity a little bit more naturally. The UM3X has a natural shape that conformed to the impression of my ear, but it was more bulbous and bulged from the ear more than the SE535 which kind of laid flat. I'm pretty sure that the SE535 is smaller. The UM3X was a little less smooth as well so there was some chafing (particularly along the seem between the two halves) that the SE535 doesn't have.
