Are the earphones themselves suppose to twist at the area where you unplug them? And how come it's really hard to unplug and somewhat harder to plug them in (takes a while to find the right spot and hear the click sound)? Also there's cable noise when I move them on a table, is that normal? I bought them on Ebay, I hope Shure warranty counts.

Yes, shure plugs are supposed to swivel, it's MMCX.

Yes again, the connectors take a bit of force to plug/unplug.
