Qobuz Lossless Streaming Service Thread

Just made a purchase on QoBuz and notice they charge extra for using PayPal! is this something new? I am a Sublime member and don't recall noting this before, needless to say not a happy development for customers!

I'm not seeing this on my monthly Studio streaming payment, and I'm in the same US state. Could be only for downloads, but I can't imagine why.

I also use PayPal for Tidal, to avoid a foreign transaction fee that showed up on my regular credit card years ago.

ive moved over my deezer files quickly which is great but can you bulk offline them, deezer does it automatically when you favorite the song, but qobuz you have to do manually?

im listening through uapp to which doesnt help

Has anyone bought a subscription while living in France, then moved abroad ?

Does the subscription still work, its a hard pill to swallow due to work.

as long as you have credit card and billing address of the country, subscription shouldn't be an issue once started.

Oh, they want your money but the license agreements with the record labels don't allow Qobuz (and other streaming services) to start a subscription unless it is billed in the subscription country. Once you've started a subscription, the account can be used from anywhere.

Is it possible to download songs for off-line play to a micro-SD card on a PC and then transfer that card to my Fiio M11Pro and play music? Download speeds would me much faster on a 1gb internet connection vs WiFi.
So, I would say the answer is no (sadly). The directory structures when you download streaming content on a PC is different from the structures on an Android device and as a result there is no clear way to know where to copy the music to...
