I don’t have any experience with any 3rd-party adapters. Don’t you have the included adapter from QLS?
3.5mm balanced cable is pretty rare. I could only find these:

it is impossible to tell how it is wired internally - and that is what matters. reuglar 3.5trs is T=L+, R=R+, and S= shared ground (this is for single-ended)
2.5trrs has conections for L=, L-, R+ and R-. (No shared ground, and - isn;t really ground, per se, hence balanced connection)
3.5trrs is not that common, used mostly in China (HIFiman, e.g.). It has the same L&R +&- 4-wires as 2.5, but they connect to the t r r and s in different order on the 2.5 and 3.5. Wrong connection = smoke comes out of your DAP, amp or phone!

My 361 came with a wire dongle adapter.....

I switched to QA361 after Cayin N3Pro for the attack and punch, but I want to darken the sound, tell me, Oriolus BA300S is good for this?

I don’t have any experience with it, but I don’t think anyone has this combination. The amp module of QA361 is very good as it is. For the price of the BA300S, I would rather buy a darker tone IEM or headphone to pair with the QA361.

I don't think it does. Theoretailly should, but browsing through a collection that is that large, without a touchscreen may prove to be quite unpleasing

I've run in to an issue if anyone can help. I've put in the 64GB Micro SD card which came with the player, I added music to the SD card, but the player is has been stuck on scan music for the last hour.

Why could this issue be happening?

Since I read a lot of reviews and this whole thread I decided to buy the qa361 via amazon.de directly from Shenzenaudio. Interested in pure sound performance, I listened intensely both wav-only firmwares, wav-1.0.4 and wav-1.0.5.
Before I released my first review on amazon.de I asked Clark (QLS contact) if it’s possible to get an updated wav-only firmware, that has deeper soundstage compared to wav-1.0.5. He sent me wav-1.0.6 and it sounds awesome!!! This upgrade boosts the sound quality a lot. Clark explained that they optimized the whole code implementation and I think it reduced the jitter a lot. There is more clarity and more room than ever! I’m very satisfied with this little killer machine. Sorry for my long post

Interesting ... soundstage depth has been a bit of a stumbling block to me truly feeling the love for the QA361; I hope wav-1.0.6 gets formally released.
