QDC - Discussion and Impressions Thread

Neptune, Uranus, V3 Mk2, Fusion, can someone tell me the difference in tuning?
I read some one said V3 Mk2 is in the middle of VX and Fusion, sounds like a Bargain.
I’d try a QDC and I was tempted by DMAGIC 3D but I bought Mest Mk2 and Land so I’d try something cheaper...

Often it is difficult to compare a $2556 flagship to a $600 IEM and even though I have the Anole V3 MK1, there is much to be desired in the VX. The bass texture is reminiscent between the two but that’s where similarly ends. The VX holds technicalities in the treble detail and filled out midrange that make the two not comparable in my short “in-store” demo.

I’d buy Uranus or V3 II right now, but I’m not sure if wait and buy Dmagic 3D that would play different but in the Mest Mk2 league😏

Definitely wouldn’t be better than many other stuff I own, I’ll wait for Dmagic.
Thanks!

V14 intro

Initial impression for V14 (just received it today): the default tuning seems has too much bass, I usually like thick and warm sound but the default seems off. Will check if burn in help it later. I turn up switch #3, the sound more balance and treble has some bite. The details is amazing and the bass also dynamic, comparable to VE8 (haven't spend enough time on both so I can't judge).

How's the fit? Same as VX?

The fit is great. The stock cable is soft and ear guide is tight. I have no problem with the fit :relaxed:
I never tried VX, in fact this is my first QDC experience and blindly purchase relying on previous impression.

On the sound, now the bass feel a bit correct better than fresh out of the box.

Yes, luckily i demoed the VX here in Italy, and i love the fit, never been on budget to buy it, but now could be time to buying the V14 :) How's the soundstage, width and depth? i remember VX to have a really awesome stage

Disclaimer, I'm not expert to explain the sound but I will try my best here.

I use all-switch off, the default sound tuning in here. The soundstage is on intimate side but enough for me. Vocal sound a bit closer compare to VE8.
The sound feel warm but refined because treble has some bite and energetic. I'll post more impression once I'm familiar enough with it. :relaxed:
