heres what is even more bizarre.
last night i got the scratchyness on all 24/96 files in jriver.
today
without changing anything mind you, not even a reboot
it plays fine in jriver....
 
i have no freaking clue!
lol
oh the joys of windows and media player audio!
 
edit: wait wait, nope.  now its scratchy again.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I just bought a used DLIII and whenever I play some 16/44 songs with 24 bit selected in Foobar it gets choppy, if I lower it to 16 bit it's fine.
 
It never did that with my Bifrost, is that normal?
