Have any of you guys had a chance to dive into the latest Advent Horizon album? It's their third release, and I'm kicking myself for not discovering them sooner. Seriously, "A Cell To Call Home" is hands down one of the best Progressive Rock albums I've come across this year and it's a solid contender for my Top 10 of 2023!

Currently listening to it on Amazon Music HD while downloading their whole catalogue from Bandcamp - you could say I'm impressed

Glad you're into the album! This band has so much potential, and I really hope they get the recognition they deserve!
I've listened to all three albums and the EP and am happy to report that they are all incredibly good and I'm very glad you brought the band to my attention as I had never heard of them before.

So, I checked out Temic's debut album with Eric Gillette from the Neal Morse Band and Diego Tejeida (formerly with Haken) this morning. Wasn't too sure at first, but after a second spin, I'm totally hooked. It's really good stuff!

Agreed great stuff…

Wasn't sure what to expect with this one as I've never heard of this band... what a great album. The title track is quite epic! Added their previous two albums and will listen soon.

Absolutely, it's an outstanding album! Also, stumbled upon a cool video of them rocking out to Rush's "Tom Sawyer"

Impressive cover, it was good to see the drummer channelling his inner Neil Peart. I'm liking this band more and more and listened to them for 12hrs last night, so they must be doing a lot right :L3000:

Took me a bit to get into the new Anubis Gate album. At first, I wasn't feeling the singer's voice on the first track, and it kinda bugged me. But, I gave it another shot recently, and bam, it clicked! Easily one of the best Prog-Metal albums I've heard this year. Pretty sure it's snagging a spot in my top 10 for 2023!

You've done it again, I didn't know they had a new one out - I loved Covered in Colours so I don't doubt I'll like this one too :sunglasses:
ps. Sadly they're not on Bandcamp - their loss

You're in for a treat with the new album, especially if you're already a fan of the band! It took me a little while to fully appreciate it, but now I'm totally hooked!
