:flag_be: Hypnos 69. Progressive Rock / Psychadelic Rock. Pure awesomeness. Judging by their sound, I believe they may have teleported in from the 1970's :thinking:

That was pretty good - thanks.

I listened to that on Tidal, and then another track came on that seemed to be directed at me, since I had just finished buying some *cough* very important *cough* articles of clothing online that happened to make me happy (and that's all that matters to me lol). The voice sounded kinda familiar:

This already sounds like my album of 2020 :ksc75smile: Can't wait for it.

Not to mention Haken - Virus and Pain of Salvation - Panther. This is shaping up to be a great year for prog. Caligula's Horse - RIse Radiant was already a great start.

you know.... @ArronZacx , I was thinking the same thing and reviewing my 2020 purchases to date. Other records that were released in 2020 and adding to the momentum of this great prog year are:

  • Frost* - Others EP
  • Kyros - Celexa Dreams
  • Novena - Eleventh Hour

And if you include symphonic metal:

  • Delain - Apocalypse and Chill
  • Nightwish - Human Nature

Rise Radiant is indeed a great album and their best yet IMO. But I too, am certainly on pins for the new Haken!

Frost* new EP is great, but my favorite release of the year is still Psychotic Waltz.

Definitely looking forward to Transitus. Arjen venturing outside of his space prog domain is a menace to other musicians :)

First Pain of Salvation single is out, kind of disappointing imo. Then again, their last album was so amazing, would be hard even for them to match.

I found a true hidden gem. Unfortunately I don't think the album is that well produced, and it's probably best to listen to it on more "forgiving" audio systems. Also, the lyrics could be better. But musically, I absolutely fell in love with this: Brother Ape - On The Other Side

@Peter 1964 Good stuff!
