Lately I can't keep up... Made lots of playlist in Tidal for listening "later". But I can't manage to catch up with "later"
What do we do to avoid music consumerism?
Sometimes I miss may old vinyls so much... Sold my entire collection along with my turntable many years ago. So foolish of me...

From the Rolling Stone's 50 Greatest Prog Rock Albums of All Time I discovered Renaissance:
I'm not really sure that I'd call it "progressive rock" lol, but for some reason I can't stop listening to it. Maybe someone else here will enjoy it as well.
(I was enjoying it via my Monk Lite 120 earbuds, and now via my AKG 240 Sextetts - both cranked up of course - it's Friday night lol)

Can anyone recommend a band/albums similar to King crimson? Something in the vein of Lizard or in the wake of Poseidon.
I'm not trying to be a smart-ass. I discovered Crim around 1979. I've been searching for something in the "vein" of those albums, plus "Islands", since that time. You're picking some of the most singular and un-duplicated music in the history of rock.
One band that I think came a little bit close was Aphrodite's Child, and their album 666. At least "The Four Horseman" off that album is kinda close...
I LOVE this album, but it's close to Crim only in spirit. It is a very, very trippy album, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for early Prog.
