WTH? I'm old, not getting old, but old. LOL. I double posted the same song back to back. Who does that? Me? Here's what I wanted to post. Much more radio friendly but the musicianship remains. I personally dig it.
Remember my "Carefree Prog" playlist? which I extended to "Carefree Rock". Now it's called "rɅdiant" and it's not limited to any genres
Here are 2 new entries:
This songs by Subsignal perfectly defines the direction of the "rɅdiant" playlist.
And here's the updated playlist:
Ha! 4.5 years later. I was just scrolling, checking stuff out and came across this. Immediately saved! Nice man! As I'm typing, I'm listening to breaking down again. My God I love this track. Been years...............

Ha ha, yep -- glad you like that playlist. I remember I was very keen on assembling it at first, and following a certain direction, but I guess I added different stuff later

You mean this song? Yees, Tears For Fears - many nice memories of much better years...

Yes it was. It’s crazy thinking about how life was when this song was released versus now. Such an upbeat and positive song. I hear ya on the playlist. I started my prog metal list which morphed into prog metal/prog/ rock. Oh well, we make playlists for ourselves. I still haven’t even got through it as it’s 500+ tracks. Again, I’m glad I found your old playlist. It’s great stuff!! Cheers.Ha ha, yep -- glad you like that playlist. Thanks man! Great! Maybe post your playlist here as well
2022 was a good year for Prog, many great album were released. imho the best and unexpected one was Elder- Innate Passage.
Unexpected because I know this band for many years, but the last album is the best of their releases.
I found this album very relaxing, smooth and some repetitive passages are creating some trance state.
But at the same time there are some parts when the music is more complex and it has a good dynamics.
There is nothing new in their music, but the combination of atmosphere and 70's rock is exceptional.
