Hey guys,

Got a new WA3 this week that I have been enjoying until disaster struck today. A few minutes after I turned the amp on I saw a bright white flash come from it and the amp seems to have lost all power on the left channel. I only hear anything through my cans (dt990 600s) when the volume is near max and it sounds like crap.

Now with that evidently damaged I plugged my cans back into my E9 and now the left channel sounds significantly quieter than the right.

Any idea what happened to my cans? I don't think I am imagining things.

Does Beyer do repairs? Any ideas what it will cost to get them fixed?

Now I am really confused. My Beyers seem to have a lot less volume on the left channel regardless of whether they are plugged into my E9 or my WA3. If I plug my M50s into the amp they sound normal. Both channels are fine.

What the hell happened??

Are you saying the WA3 is fine when used with other headphones? The only thing I can think of is the amp probably damaged the beyers in some way. Regardless you should still try to contact the seller of your amp in addition to beyer.
