What more do you want me to say then? I couldn't name alot of headphones that are more comfortable than the 900, maybe the K1000, DX-1000, K-601, SR007 and Lambda's.

Nothing more you can say. Now I'd like to try them on. Because of my previous experience with comfort on Ultrasone headphones, I have to try them on first prior to purchase.

True, I must also say that I found the ED9 and hfi780 not that comfortable, could use it on my head, but after about an hour it starts to hurt, the 900 doesn't have this problem

Congratulations!
Burn them in first, before you start modding. It makes a difference.

Hello, to the person who asked, yes the hfi780 benefits a lot from adding dampening material as well. Aloaudo does it, although i bet it isnt difficult to do it yourself, they also recable it. There is a big thread about it on their sponsored forum and it seems to make the hfi780 sound pretty close to the ed9.
Greetings, Anouk,
