Hello, all! This is my inaugural post after being a long-time reader - fine time to start participating!
I'm going to purchase a new set of closed custom cans and would appreciate advice or feedback from anyone who has owned or compared these products.
My price range is the $650 to $750.
Isolation is very important, as well as tight, clean bass. (I have owned some 250 ohm Beyerdynamic DT770s & really liked the isolation and sound signature.)
Here are the choices I've narrowed, in no particular order:
1.) Beyerdynamic Manufaktur custom DT770 600 Ohm w/Leather Pads + Moon Audio Black Dragon Cable w/split mod
2.) Headphile Terminator V4 w/Black Max Cable
3.) Lawton Audio LA2000 Lite
My primary equipment for is:
Headamp AE-2
ALO Audio RX Amp
Headamp Pico DAC
Source:
160 GB iPod Classic
MacBook Pro
Listening tastes - everything from Jazz to classical to Alternative to Electronica
Current Headphone Arsenal:
Sennheiser HD650 w/Blue Dragon - primary open can
Sennheiser HD25-1 II w/HD25-C II cable - primary portable can
Thanks for reading & thanks for responding!
