I am working on two younger ladies with rich family. starting them out with something small like a Rolex sea dweller then plan on working my way up to a Bentley as my top goal. my problem is the younger ones never want to give out, and i am talking about the money!

this plan is better then selling my kidney! just got to find the right Mark then i dig.

The intro price is 425 plus shipping. I think there are still some left at that price. At least that is what I read on the Predator sponsor page.

I was just curious. I get the feeling Ray will have to undercut Justin based on what people are saying. Something tells me his margin is bigger as well.

I don't think either Justin or Ray predicate their price on what the other is doing.

sure they look at price when designing any amp as you have to consider the market for a product you are about to invest their time and money into. If either designed a product out of step with the market they would take a loss.

It's marketing 101 to understand the market and design products we want and at a price that either defines a new high and justifies the price or serves a function at a lower cost to work off the market created by the leader

I understand that as I have been in marketing, in the distant past, but I don't think it is the driving force here. I could be wrong, that is just my feeling.

So what you are saying is,,,,they are only interested in making the best product they know how to make? If that statement were true then how could either one of them stay in buisness and make nice amps for people? How can someone sell a product and not consider margin?

LOL

Ray has offered to send me his personal Predator that is fully burned in to borrow for a comparo to my Pico. I hope to have it by the end of the week and get some impressions formed by sometime next week (assuming my wife does not go into labor between now and then).

Sad, please get your priorities right. Women pop out kids all the time but listening to the Pico and Predator. . . .

Best wishes on the new arrival. I did L & D years ago and always enjoyed working with new mothers but didn't enjoy giving the babies their first shots.

Having been hestitating between these two amps for quite a long time, i was told that the improvments from the Predator were not that noticeable(his rig:iPod classic-ALO Jumbo Cryo-UE11) maybe we should wait the cap to get burn-in but right now i'm leaning to the Pico.

Ditto...is this Ray's first venture in the DAC world, by the way?
