It still wouldn't be a range finder even with a real viewfinder. I love the ergonomics and focusing speed of rangefinders, and wish that camera makers would couple real image matching rangefinders into their digital cameras of any sensor size. Even my Nikon FE has a small split prism rangefinder, though, of course, it is through the lens rather than through a separate view finder.

Fancy photo, but you really don't need the 3-D effect.  The picture should be able to stand on it's own.
Keep it simple.  ^_^
