A few from this weekend.

One of many that I took at the Red Bull Air Race Qualifying session.

Some from an artist squatter community in the neighborhood.

Interesting pictures.  How do get the color on your photos so rich?  Did you do some photoshopping?  What kind of camera was used?

A fantastic cactus flower that bloomed a couple of nights ago, it's almost twice the size of the plant itself ! Photo taken with a k200d and 200/F4 s-m-c takumar lens.

The airplane shots needed some Aperture 3 work as they were washed out a bit by the bright sun, NYC haze and the smoke the planes we blowing everywhere.

The two color pics in the neighborhood were taken in Raw and had a slight bump for Saturation and a smaller bump for exposure in Aperture 3.

The monochrome was brought up in Shadows/Highlights to allow for more of the shoe detail then converted to B&W with the red filter and then run through Aperture's color "Toy Camera" preset for the final look.

Camera for the air races was Canon 50d>70-200 F4L + 1.4 Extender
Camera for the neighborhood was Canon 50d>24-70L

Sorry it took so long for me to get to this thread, I promised pictures ages ago in the non canon/nikon SLR thread but never got there.

I just made a flickr, and I only have one photo up now, but you can be sure that there is more coming.

Just a mishmash of a few of my favorite things. Shooting in low light so sorry about the high iso, and I couldn't get a good DoF to show you all the stuff, but I'm sure you'll recognize the foreground object. Background is IBM Model M keyboard and Pelikan Pura fountain pen.

Taken with a Pentax K-x with Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5 lens.

Also, it turns out flickr doesn't let you see the original size. If anyone wants it at its full 12mp, just ask.

Huddler is really, really impossible. How the hell do I actually get my damn pics to display? I'm really trying. And no, I'm not going to use the horrible uploader and on-site storage space.

Looks like your IMG tags aren't parsing and they must be inside another tag they shouldn't be. Huddler really screws up post HTML, especially if you copy and paste. Click view source and see if anything looks strange.

All I did was click the insert image icon, and used the tab "Image URL." I then dropped the URL of your image into the "Import URL" box and hit OK.

No uploading required.

Gritty shot -- I like.

As an aside, I do not like the way we are forced to format the replies. Getting the quoted text ABOVE what I type is really a pain. No tags make it even harder to get it the way I like to format my responses.
