Wow, I can not believe it is still that cold up in norway!
Feels almost like summer where I live.
 

Well, the local university had it's graduation/commencement this weekend.
 










 
Well, you get the idea.

I always enjoy photographing commencements. The students are so happy!
Plus, the weather was perfect!

Yeah! Worth mentioning that it was up on 1400 meters above sea level though, far above the tree line.
Snowbanks some places up to 4-5 meters high.

It looked like Glasgow was hit quite hard by the crisis, shops and office buildings to let everywhere.
There was not exactly an atmosphere of gloom but the city felt like it had lost its energy. I think this picture shows some of that feeling. This was shot just after the election which was lost by by Labour and ended in a new Tory/Liberal coalition government, the first coalition goverment in the UK in some 65 years.
Coincidentally the Tories had a horrible result in Scotland, only winning one parliament seat there.
