I never appreciated just how much easier kittens are than puppies. Kittens virtually house train them selves. Puppies, not so much.

We still have three cats, though.

OTOH, the dogs are more fun in an interactive sense, since you can include them in family activities, like camping and picnics. We had them at the local Petco last night, and people went gaga over them. They definitely make a striking pair.

Pics taken with Canon 7D and Canon 100 f/2.8 L IS Macro. (Love this lens. I'm also glad I got a 7D last Fall, because my 20D would never have kept up these guys.)

I make little things out of plastic, and as they cure I keep them in an inert gas to help prevent oxidation.
