Lots of really great photography here! Really like the nature shots... does anyone know of a good online gallery of similarly excellent high-res photos I could use as desktop backgrounds?

I really should stop looking at this now before I buy an expensive camera myself

As some pictures were to be used in the calendar this year I was told not to post any till it was out.. well its finally out so here are some of the many that I took for them in June.

Sometimes there are arguments..

And disagreements (this pic reminds me of Infernal affairs for some reason)

In the end they always kiss and make up!

Let's take raptor's dogs and go to Nocturnal's background!!!
I didn't have my camera with me today, but I shot this on my cell and just had to share, hopefully he will return tomorrow and I can get a better shot.

Wow, love what the shadows do to the moth!

And to stay in the subject... well, kinda...

I love the buttery smoothness of the background there. It's a very nice cat portrait.

Hmm kind of an odd cropping for me, perhaps a little less space on the top would be better?

Ah, the joys of 3:2. ^_^
It actually was how I framed that picture. It hasn't been cropped.
I didn't try cropping the top, but that would most certainly work as well (with a change in aspect ratio).

Thank you very much lan. F/2.8 about 2 feet away. The lens itself is fantastic.

Hope you're not afraid of a little color!
After looking at this for a minute or two full size, everything else just seems dull in comparison!!!

FANCY!

Maybe one of the few times when my camera produced a too saturated image... Oh well.

And so begins Fall
