Post Your Photography Here #2

Thanks for the information mate, that'll help a lot. By the way, the car looks great - almost a vintage darkroom feel.

Towert: And I see nothing too 'artsy' about anyone's angles here; angles exist in nature as well as clouds. Crazy use of flash is hard on the eyes, but then again, we aren't exactly professionals are we? This thread should be fun and it generally is; cutting up photos because they are 'artsy' or not is a bit sad.

Those ducks alway surprise me; with that blue under that drab brown...

Haven't posted in a while, taken with a Samsung GX-20 and a Pentax-m 50mm 1.7:

^^ Wow, I didn't know that Pentax made lenses for non-OEM cameras. Looks like a sweet lens. I love my D200 cause it is great for sports and handling is good, but inside, low-light performance even with a 1,4 lens is really really bad compared to anything pretty much. My mate's D70 is much better. Actually, I am not sure that Nikon made a worse low-light camera ever. But I love it. Another two years, please D200, just last 2 more years!

I live in the Republic of Samsung, so I am interested whenever I hear them doing something. I would have wondered why they rebranded it when they could have just bought Pentax a million times over.

Samsung made the sensor for Pentax, but as far as I can tell, nothing public between Samsung and Pentax has happened since then.

They say at Photokina this year Pentax is going to announce something big, but no one is certain...

Some film, finally finished the roll and got it developed. Nothing special equipment wise: Nikon N70, 105mm macro, slightly expired ISO400 B&W film. It's basically a test roll but was fun to play with. I haven't shot film since high school with disposable cameras. Now that I can operate an SLR it's much more interesting, but daunting without the ease of digital.

I just share my opinions, I don't attack photos or people.  If you are going to continue to publicly post your photography, you have to accept the frequent blatant comment (whether you agree with it or not).

I'm never the biggest fan of black and white, but I love the sharpness of these photos, especially the leaf.  Great resolution in the film, lens, and scanner.

Amusing, indeed. http://dpnow.com/5231.html (old, but still... where's new Pentax interesting cams?)

Samsung have also denied that they are trying to take over South Korea though and that was a lie.
