I always like a nice flower picture, especially with the cold weather we are getting up here!

Thanks man, took me like 50 shots to get the pic to look like that....stupid wind kept blowing the flower back and forth ehe. Thats why its looks kinda noisy, i had to raise the ISO up.

Im still trying to read about my new camera, figuring out all the settings..very over whelming coming from a P&S camera to a SLR. Lots of stuff to get use to setting for yourself.

I'm not sure if the learning process ever stops! I've had mine for over a year now and I'm still learning new things about it.

And that's not even including things like photo editing.

I've been in photography for close to 45 years, at all levels up to full-time professional. The learning never stops, at least not if you're trying.

Photo editing was the thing that took me the longest to learn when I went digital. I'm still learning post processing, but I think I have improved a lot in the past 3.5 years .

That's great to hear that you never stop learning when it comes to photography! I love that about it!

Still trying out my 35-70mm lens....... it's finicky!
Most of my shots so far are nothing to brag home about...... looking like my 18-200mm VR, but every once in a while it will really surprise me. That just means I'm not using it properly yet.... I guess..... ^_~

Cute Kitty! =^.^=

I like how the face is in focus, and the rest of the body and couch are blurred.

Impossible!

Just a typical portrait inside my house.

Soft Focus:

Now this was strange.
I took a picture of my cat........ and this is how it came out.
I had no special filters attached, and I did noting to it in photoshop. This is just how it came out.
Well, I like the soft focus effect..... even though I was totally not expecting it!
I think my lens has a mind of it's own. Scary.

@Highlife: Haha, I looked at your first picture, and thought for a moment you had a whole underwater rig for that shot! Then I saw the one below it.
