Home developed expired C-41 color film from an unknown manufacturer. Messing with the development temperatures on C-41 films can result in some very interesting (and beautiful) color shifts!

Hey, we should have our own photo contest. Mods can be the judges and everyone who wants to enter has to pay $5.00. 50% goes to the prize for the 1st place selection (pair of headphones) and 50% goes to headfi. 2nd and 3rd place just get honourable mentions. Must be headfi member of at least 6 months to enter and only one entry. Just an idea.

I do like your idea, though. It would also have to be anonymous

I'll put some into practice when my exams are done! 10 week summer

- If only I had a DSLR to play with for the long generally boring standard summer holiday, let alone an after-exams summer holiday, finishing 4 weeks before everyone else! I doubt any UK'er has an old one laying around after an upgrade? I'd love to play with one for some of the summer!

Lovely shots briant, love the giraffe shot

I like that photo except the contrails from the jet should be photoshopped out as it is distracting and does not suit the mood of the photo.

you can't just photoshop out the jet trails! That's breaking the rules. I also like them...

That shows that any film will do! Doesn't look of high quality, but the photos themselves make up for it if you see what I mean...? The last 3 are absoloutley brilliant!

<not trying to offend at all, just observing>

I'm tempted to pick up an old DSLR, but I don't have a dark room in my school, so i'd have to get a shop to do it (not as fun either, and costly, and inconvinient) - I'd get used to not seeing the pic as soon as I shot it, and my pics would improve with the one shot, one chance mentality, and it would be cheaper to get a decent film camera, and there is something about film! - but i've grown up in the digital era (only used a few films in my life!) and the inconviniences hold me back. I wish I had a darkroom in my own home!

You can't scan negatives without a little development can you?
