Funny you mention the sky - I was specifically waiting for an overcast, cloudy day to try it, since panoramas in bright sunlight usually don't work for that kind of manipulation due to too many lighting differences in the single shots.

Of course it looks a bit more boring than with proper lighting, but otherwise I couldn't have stitched it that way.

Wil, your people photos never leave me with a happy feeling. They always seem to make me feel sad........ ~_~

I didn't know it was possible to take so many pictures of people and not get some happy or joyous ones. Now I'm convinced that you seek out these somber people photos!!! ^_^

400$ is dirt cheap for the quality and performance you get with it.

One of the VERY few pictures I took that I think actually looks equally decent in B&W as in color.

I love the texture!

Wow. Nice shots Towert, i've always thought non-color shots of flowers have a certain quality about them, they seem almost abstract.

And with regards to my shots, i don't think i go out to make my subjects seem sad per se, but it's just that people on the streets don't seem very happy altogether, and my shots are just a record of how they react to my camera or how they look at the moment the shutter is depressed...i don't "hunt" for sad people..lol.

Towert, you have to understand this - Wil is shooting in Singapore. In Singapore, NO ONE is happy. Complaining is the national pastime, superceded only by food. ERP this, COE that, GST there, CPF on the paycheck...

Of course his shots are of unhappy people, where is he supposed to find the happy ones?

(That was in jest, just to be clear)

That was quite funny actually. And sad to admit, it's really quite true. Smiling to a random camera isn't our forte.
